About Us

The Nevada Faith & Freedom Coalition is a non-profit organization dedicated to educating and mobilizing people of faith, advancing individual liberty, helping those in need, protecting life, and building strong bonds within our communities to ensure Nevadans freely reach their God-given potential.

We believe that the greatness of America & Nevada lies not in government but in the character of its people — the simple virtues of faith, hard work, family, personal responsibility, and helping those in need.

It has never been more critical for us to speak out for these values. That is why the Nevada Faith & Freedom Coalition is committed to educating, equipping, and mobilizing people of faith and like-minded individuals to be effective citizens.

Captain Sam Brown

Sam Brown was raised by his parents with an expectation that he would embody the values of duty and service to the nation. As the oldest of five children from a rural town, Sam knew that the military could provide him the opportunities to serve his country and further his education. The 9-11 terrorist attacks only reinforced his resolve to serve.

Sam was medically retired from the US Army as a Captain in September 2011, after more than five years of active-duty service. He earned his MBA (Master of Business Administration) from Southern Methodist University.

In 2022, he was a Republican candidate for U.S. Senate in Nevada. Sam and Amy live in Reno with their 3 children, where they started a small business that provides critical services to Veterans outside of the VA.
